There is easy access to the Great Western Greenway is a 42km cycling route with stunning views and seascapes, and no vehicles! A route to Cycle with children. Fishing is amazing in the area with lots of places for the shore angler, and local skippered charter boats will bring you to the pristine waters of Clew Bay to catch a great variety of fish.
Walking in the area is great and the local gem is 6KM ‘Look Out Hill’ way marked looped trail. A walk of stunning beauty and immense diversity. Such is the biodiversity here, that you enter three different European designated areas of conservation and Ireland’s largest National Park. Keep your eyes peeled as you may spot a few of Mulranny’s Old Irish Goats in their natural habitat!
Or just take a stroll along the Mulranny Victorian Causeway to Mulranny Salt marsh, Beach and Pier.
Golfers will enjoy a round at the nearby Mulranny Golf Links, a nine hole course.
